Shipping Policy

The Forest Store Online will send orders to all destinations around the world. Occasionally, the destination requested may be cost prohibitive or may apply restrictions on the selected product purchased for shipment. If this is the case we will notify you via email.

All products are shipped via Canada Post. The shipping and handling cost for your order is based on the total weight, size and destination of the order. All applicable taxes are extra and will be charged at time of purchase. Duty and Brokerage fees are charged to the receiver. 

Orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding public holidays. Please allow up to 2 business days to process, and pack your order. Our products are made by hand and packaged with lots of love and care.

Note: All delivery time windows are approximate. Delivery times may depend on how the destination, weather conditions, strikes, seasonal high traffic, custom/border delays, etc. Canada Post delivery discrepancies (ie. late arrivals, misdirected shipments, etc.) rarely happen, but if they do, are unfortunately out of our control. In Such cases we will do everything in our power to work diligently with Canada Post to ensure any issues are rectified. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We do not normally accept order cancellations or changes once an order has been processed. If you have questions about your order, please contact us at +1 705-789-2003.

 

Returns and Exchanges

The Forest Store will accept returns and exchanges. The product must not be used and arrive back to The Forest Store within 30 days of delivery. Please ensure the purchase is securely repackaged. Enclose your address/ordering information and send the package to The Forest Store, pre-paid.
 
Your account will be credited for the full amount of your purchase, excluding shipping and handling charges, and a 10% restocking fee.
Due to the handmade nature of most of our items, slight inconsistencies are to be expected, but will not negatively affect functionality. Returns based on inconsistencies will be honored; however, shipping will not be covered.
